Stage|Set|Scenery Personal Product News
Dear Sir or Madam,
Over 6,000 trade visitors witnessed a fascinating 3-day event on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds that was attended by 310 exhibitors from 20 countries and featured a packed programme of conference events with papers, workshops and round table discussions.
The main motivation for trade visitors was to obtain information and hold meetings on specialist subjects. Around 50 per cent were visiting for the first time. Nine out of ten had a positive impression of the products and services and said they would be back for the next event. Exhibiting companies were also satisfied with the show. Approximately 4 out of 5 of exhibitors polled were very satisfied with the quality of visitors on their stand – they were particularly interested in the visitor categories ‘technical staff at event venues’, ‘event venue management’ and ‘architects/building planners’.

Safety in Action-Stage
Under the heading of ’Up in the Air’, the focus was on safety during productions. This was also the first time that stage equipment is involved. Audiences were able to witness everyday situations under realistic conditions, featuring demonstrations of hazardous situations as well as solutions.
With the motto ’Brighten the Future’, the LightLab, curated by Manfred 'Ollie' Olma of mo2design, hosted LifeTime Talks with experts, workshops and presentations featuring leading international lighting designers.
At the SoundLab trade visitors had an opportunity to experience the latest audio systems live at the show. Featuring a number of theindustry’s key players, the Audio segment was fully booked and was rounded off by the participation of the Sound Engineers’ Association.
Immersive Showroom
Whether the topic was costume-making using 3D printing, VR and AR applications in museums and exhibitions, holograms and 3D projections in the theatre and at events, or the use of AI in museums – over the course of three days the Immersive Showroom devoted itself to every topic involving digitalisation in the cultural sphere. An interdisciplinary exchange of views ensured that visitors gained a comprehensive overview of the latest experience technologies. Event Manufactory
No more boring events! This new segment at the show was able to attract numerous newcomers and offered inspiration with impulse speeches by contractors for successful event productions.
