| German theaters and other venues benefit from pandemic-related investments and projects by the Federal Cultural Fund. This support from the German government makes it possible, for example, to renew ventilation systems or develop digital services.
Our non commercial sponsor, the DTHG (link only in German!), is involved in the processing and distribution of the subsidies.
Every effort is made to preserve the unique German theater landscape in its size.

| Under the theme "Theater.3D. Dimension timeless" the Weltenbauer and the Weltenbauer.Youngsters.Award are dedicated to theater in the 21st century, which in times of Corona is a theater in a special time.
We are looking for stage-technical solutions and concepts that enchant the audience through originality and creativity. Applications are open internationally!
Theater as well as musical, show, television and event productions with live events, concept developments as well as planned productions from 2019 to 2021 that have not been carried out due to Corona can participate.

| The Weltenbauer.Youngster.Award is looking especcially for creative ideas from students and trainees in the field of theater, film and event technology.
Competition entries can be submitted in digital form here until February 28, 2021. The prize winners will receive their awards at Stage|Set|Scenery 2021 in Berlin.

| Stage|Set|Scenery is the leading trade show for stage, lighting, sound, studio, film, video and media technology, set design, event services, theatre planning, make-up and costume design as well as exhibition and museum technology. The International Stage Technology Conference organised by Deutsche Theatertechnische Gesellschaft (DTHG) rounds off the show.
The event is organised by Messe Berlin GmbH and DTHG, its non-commercial sponsor, and takes place on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds biennially in June.
